Pink Saturday 10/18/08

It's time for Pink Saturday. Our gracious hostess is Bev over at "How Sweet the Sound". Be sure to pay her a visit and see who else is sharing their pink.

I thought this would be interesting to share. This was taken last year when we were experiencing multiple fires. The air was so thick with smoke that the sun had a very difficult time shining through. Can you see the pink ring around the sun?

Those days when the smoke is in the air is eerily beautiful, isn't it? During one fire season, the setting sun shone hot pink on my concrete wall.

Hope you're doing alright - our fires were, fortunately, contained by the end of the week.

We've seen too many of those very images here too with all the fires in Calif. over the last year or so. But it is a pretty color! Happy Pink Saturday!

Reminds me of all the fires they experience in California and how many homes have been lost. It's a good picture. Sad...yet captivating, all at the same time.

Happy Pink Saturday!

Isn't it remarkable that something so dirty makes such a pretty color?
