Autumn in Suburbia...

It's
Autumn !!!

The magical color show, the crackle and crunch of fallen leaves...scarecrows, pumpkins and corn. There's the cooler temperatures, fireplaces aglow, and the smell of spice.
While "my" Autumn isn't quite as "colorful" and the next few days ahead will bring Santa Ana's and heat, I know that somewhere many of you are experiencing the glorious show of Autumn.
Enjoy!
I love, love, love to decorate for the seasons. It's not much, but it's enough to make my cozy space even more cozier.A sweet little pumpkin lovingly created by my little girl's hands...when she was just nine years old. Every season it makes it's way for the Autumn Show. A old china hutch dressed for the season. Hmm, where did I put those twinkly lights?!Scarecrows, pumpkins, pine cones and flowers.Autumn afternoon sun shining through.

Rechelle, that is sooooo cute!!! I've always wondered why the California homes have those high windows. I see them a lot on HGTV....when I get to watch it. Is it because of people being able to see in lower windows?

Looking good Rechelle :) It's cold here at night. Getting down to 32 degrees with frost on the ground in the morning:) The leaves are past their peak and falling. I 'm trying to enjoy each day before the LONG winter comes. Very sweet little pumpkin your daughter made. I love the things that my kids made when they were young:)
Warmly,
Deb

Rechelle, Your autumn decor is so festive. I love the little pumpkin Your daughter made. We are having cooler weather now and the nights are in the low 40's. I love autumn, it is my favorite time of the year. The color in the mountains is really getting into full color.

I'm glad you got a chuckle out of my post today. Not my usual but fun for a change.

Hugs...Jeanne
