My First Blue Monday

I've been viewing and enjoying the participants of Sally's Blue Monday and I thought it was time to join in the fun. Be sure to visit Sally @ Smiling Sally and see who else is sharing their blue's.

Look how Blue the sky is next to the golden grass. In the Spring, these hills are so green and lush. This is the James Dean Memorial Highway. The intersection ahead, is where that tragic crash occurred.
Boats lazily bobbing in the bay.For the love of a little blue cornflower and my love of Corningware. The painting in the background is called "A night in shining amour" by Dale Terbush. One of my favorite artists. When the lights are dimmed just right, the moon and stars appear to "glow". It's really a beautiful and serene piece. I know it doesn't match my decor, but I loved it so much, I had to have it. Thank goodness hubbs agreed. :0) (click on picture to enlarge)
See that little blue tag? That "tells" anyone who may find my dog (if she ever got lost), that she is micro chipped and all they need to do is get her to vet and have her scanned to aid in our reunion. :0) Cookie is sitting atop a wedding ring quilt that has blue in the rings as well. It was a gift to hubbs and I when we were married.

Thanks for taking the time to stop by and see me. Have a great day!

What a delightful collection of blue shots! But I think my favourite must be the one of your dog with that gorgeous expression on the face!

Welcome to your 1st Blue Monday. You sure started off with a bang. I love all the things you offered. That picture you have hanging demands a second, closer look. Your doggie is the most precious thing, and the quilt she's enjoying is a special wedding gift indeed. Thanks for sharing. Happy Blue Monday!

Good on ya for getting your pup low jacked! I know it's a load off my mind to know that in the unlikely event that The Tonka Unit ever strays too far form home he'll have a way of telling people how to get him back to me.

Ok, I'm laughing about wanting the pigs in a blanket recipe.....I guess maybe it is a "southern thing".

It is "really" hard.

One package of hot dogs
Two cans of crescent rolls

Open the hot dogs
Open the cans of crescent rolls...leaving them in a RECTANGULAR shape, not the TRIANGLE.

Place hot dog on the rectangle long way.....and ROLL

Repeat until all are done.

Bake at 350 degress until puffy and golden brown....about 20 minutes.

Do you already know what they are and have a different name for them? I don't even know why we call them PIGS in a blanket...should be STUFF in a blanket....ba haaaaa....since it probably has beef, chicken, pork, etc in it.
