Blue Monday 11/3

Hip Hip Hoo-ray! It's time for BLUE MONDAY Graciously hosted by Sally @ Smiling Sally.
After your visit here, be sure to swing by her place and check out all the blue beauties :0)

This quilt belongs to my youngest daughter. When she was younger (much younger) it graced her bed. I miss the days where we would decorate her room "girlie girl" and "floofy". For now it spends most of it's time in the closet but one day, when my nest is "emptier", I hope to find a new home for it and have a room where all the floof and flowers will go.

This is my mail box. I love my mail box. I like the way it's got an "aged" look about it and I love how sturdy it is. It's a type of iron and if that lid falls to hard, you better watch the tips of your fingers!

Thanks for stopping by and spending some of your Monday with me. Be sure to visit Smiling Sally for some more BLUE.

Have a Marvelous Monday!

What a lovely quilt! Maybe some day you'll have a granddaughter and will be able to fix up a girly guest room for her.

I love that old-fashioned mail box.

Actually, it's looking at the quilt that makes my fingers ache. I haven't got the patience or the fine motor skill for such work.

I guess we are about quilts today. I love your daughters quilt. they do grow up and want a more adult decor. I think your mailbox is gorgeous. The vintage look of it is awesome.

My brother and his wife lived in Arcadia way back when and they would have peacocks come visit their yard! :0)

Hi Ellen, you ask me what I kept in my big blue and white jar.
I don't keep anything in there. But you gave me a great ideal !! I am going to hide a huge bag of M&M's in there ! Honey bunny will never think to look in there. hehehehehe
They were left over from Halloween, I don't even have trick or treaters. He had a plan didn't he .
