Three or more Thursday is hosted by Tam @ The Gypsy's Corner, so be sure to pop on over and pay her a visit and see who else is showing their "three's and more".
I love tablecloths. Be they vintage or new, they become treasured and are well used and displayed often. I love "dressing" a table...whether I'm dressing it up or giving it a more casual feel...
The fist cloth (from the left) is dated from the 1940s and the embroidery on this piece is wonderful! The last one, on the far right, is dated from the 1950s and is a Wilendur. The fabrics of these cloths is sturdy and quite heavy. No wonder they've stood the test of time. The one in the center is yellow with pink and I'll bet it could tell some great stories. It's been lovingly used, not only by me, but by it's previous "keepers" as well. It's got some stains here and there, but in my opinion, that just adds more character to a fabulous cloth.
My eldest daughter and her sweet boyfriend gifted me with this cloth on my last birthday. This was an Ebay win and I just had to have it! It is huge! It also matches the dishtowel/table runner that is displayed on the serving cart. I won these two items at two different times. I just must have been meant to bring them together. They are a perfect match!I love, love, love Waverly and while this cloth isn't vintage, it is in fact, one of my favorites and I use it almost daily. It has stood up against two rather rambunctious little boys, three crazy canines and the rest of my pretty large family. I love how it coordinates so well with the pantry plaid panels. Look! You can see how I usually "keep" my cloths. There they are. Right there! On the server :0)This cloth was this year's Mother's Day present from my youngest children and my hubbs. My son picked it out and did he make the perfect choice or what? It matches the decor perfectly, the colors are perfect and of course, one can never go wrong with roses. This boy knows his momma!I've more cloths but thought this would be enough for now, I know you've others to visit today. Thank you for sharing a bit of your day with me.
Now be sure to head on over to Tam's!
Remember that half the joy of achievement is in the anticipation.

Ooooh....can I come over for coffee, sit at your table and enjoy the sun shining on your beautiful tablecloth? I promise not to spill!
Hi Rechelle! I love this vintage table cloths. Wish I had some nice ones. I have a few, but they're not in very good condition.
Be a sweetie
Shelia ;)
That is one thing I wish I had more of. I think I have one really cheap (polyester) tablecloth and it is stained! I wouldn't mind finding one that I enjoyed using as much as you enjoy yours.
take care,
Dawn
Each of your tablecloths is a winning design.
Hey Rechelle,
I am so drawn to vintage tablecloths too. I picked one up at a yard sale recently and it's gorgeous...it's cotton and it's a Christmas one....I can hardly wait to use it....it won't be long! I sure love all of your tableclothes...

You have some beautiful tablecloths! I am also a Waverly lover and have that same pattern in my bedroom. I got a great deal at a yard sale on a comforter set complete with curtains and valances. That pattern is so pretty and vintage looking. Have a great weekend!
Hi Rechelle
I also just LOVE linens. I have a tub full of them. They make me happy. :) Yours are very lovely and thanks for sharing them with me/us. Have a great weekend.
Warmly,
Deb
I love table cloths (and runners and placemats). I have a few Wilendur tablecloths. You have some really nice ones!
Manuela
Rechelle, what beautiful table cloths. The one in the third picture very much reminds me of one my Mom used to have while I was growing up. What a great thing to collect.
Have a wonderful weekend,
Tam
