Blue Monday 11/24

Monday! You know that that means? It's time for Blue Monday, so graciously hosted by Sally @ Smiling Sally
Be sure to pay her a visit and see who else is bouncing around in Blue today.

My morning coffee mug. It's super sized to give me that great big caffeine jolt I need to get myself moving in the morning. I sure do love me a good cup of coffee in the morning.
This is my blue mixing bowl with pour spout. It's a fire king and was my mother's. When she passed, dad gave it to me.This small juice/water pitcher was given to me by my dad. It used to have two small juice glasses that went with it, but those have since been broken. I tend to use this as a candle holder. The flickering flame looks especially nice glowing through the cobalt color. Thanks for stopping by and sharing a bit of your Monday with me. I hope you'll let me know you were here. Have a great day!

Good morning Rechelle, I do love your blue today. I too drink my coffee in a BIG mug in the morning. I would love to drink my coffee in that vintage blue mug. Your mixing bowl is a treasure from your mom's passing. I have many things I cherish from my mom passing too. They become more dear as time goes by.
Happy blue Monday.

Hugs...Jeanne

Isn't it something the way we've all become so addicted to our morning coffee? I'm sipping a cup right now. I'm glad that you have things that were your mother's. Happy Blue Monday!

While your blog was loading up for me, I realized I was drinking my water from my one blue glass mug, and was thinking, oh, I have to remember to take a pic of this for a future Blue Monday post. Then, your post loaded and voila - we have the same mug! That's so neat!

My first Blue Monday! This is fun!

I'm with you on the coffee. Even though mine is always decaf, I still need it in the morning.

I love your bowl and pitcher, and coming from your parents makes them even nicer.

Man... do they still make Fire King kitchenware? My mom has a 4-cup glass Fire King measuring cup that she's had from the time I was ... well maybe before I was born. I think the thing is indestructible.

I love cobalt glass - I have a little cobalt cruet set that my husband's grandmother gave me. Belonged to her mother. I've always thought it was her way of welcoming me into the family, so I'm especially fond of it.

By the way, I used to have that same breadbox.
