It's another hot and muggy day. The summer days have stretched on with little relief and I felt myself getting very cranky. Then I started thinking about one of my very favorite places to visit...
How I wish I was here.
C'mon, walk with me...
I'll race ya!
The different colors and hues of the ocean water never cease to amaze me. It's interesting how the play of light and sun can change the ocean's waters from gray...to blue...
The ocean rolls in ...
The ocean rolls out...
My favorite place to just sit and "be"...
Remember that half the joy of achievement is in the anticipation.

Ok, so now I want to go to the beach SO bad! We live in Missouri and the lake beaches just aren't the same for me. We married in Rhode Island in August of '06 right on the beach. AMAZING is an understatement. That was the last time I had sand between my toes :( I like to think that if I lived by the beach I could always go there to help put myself in a better mood. Don't you agree?

I can certainly see why this is your favorite place because it is beautiful. Where is it? I grew up on the Atlantic Ocean and the Gulf of Mexico, but it doesn't look like any of the beaches I know.
Oh that looks like a west coast beach to me!!! I was just over by the beach today but just went to the flea market and didn't drive a little bit further to the ocean. Now after seeing this I wish I had! I'm only 30 minutes away and I should visit the ocean more often...it's good for the soul!
