- Hi! I'm Rechelle. Mommy and Stepmom to my blended brood. As you can imagine there is never a dull or quiet moment in our home. And it's a rather "cozy" home at that, one that seems even "cozier" when we're all together at the same time! I love anything with a history. My home is filled with treasures that have been handed down through generations, or that I've found in thrift stores & antique malls. I love all kinds of music, classic movies & Gene Kelly. Some of my favorite things are vintage tablecloths, lace, beadboard, toile, fine china, tea sets, old homes- be they craftsman, victorian or farmhouses-, decorating & antiques. Living in a cookie cutter house has had it's decorating challenges but my husband and I have loved adding character and making it a "home". We've still many projects to embark upon, but one day... I wish my vintage stack looked that neat....I love my vintage stack though....I also have pillowcases in my stack.
The SUNSHINE we are having FINALLY after 22 days of rain is REALLLLLLLY making me smile!!!!
OH the wonderful smell of freshly ironed linens - and red is my favorite color by far.
I would be smiling if those beautiful table clothes were over here at my home. But really if my bedroom would be finished and my home put back in order I would be doing a Snoopy Dance.

Thanks for stopping by this week!! I miss everyone and It's so nice to able to catch up!! We have been terribly busy. Two boys and never ending baseball, work, and a monster garden = tired!!
What makes me smile??? My kids, spring weather, fresh blooms in the garden and my favorite scented candles!!

Love the vintage tablecloths. I just got a great deal on 12 100% cotton tablecloths ... all the same color pink. I just love them and can't wait to use them on the table ... with a clear plastic covering over them to keep them pristine, of course. I'm kinda messy sometimes. :) xxoo
Dear Rechelle...I just found your comment on Farrah's story..and I am so sorry for your loss! We have both been through a lot...and like you..and I am almost afraid to say this...I am the only one that has not been hit with this dread disease. My husbands both suffered so badly. Especially my second husband, Frank. Pat was gone in just ten days. He was there..working and gone. Frank it took nearly three months and it ravaged him! Thank you so much for your comment! I appreciate it and again, I am SO very sorry for your loss!
