Vintage Thingies Thursday

It's time for Vintage Thingies Thursday...once again! Be sure to stop on over Suzanne, The Colorado Lady, and see who else is sharing their vintage treasures

This is a pasta bowl that belonged to my mother.
I remember it sitting on the rack, sometimes filled with cookie packs, faux rubber grapes,
or some other "froo froo" to look pretty. On the back it is stamped with a copyright/circa
(A "C" with a circle around it) 1056-Made in the USA by the Los Angeles Pot ----
I cant read the last word :0(
For being 53 years old,
it is in wonderful condition,
having no scratches,
chips, cracks or fading.
It has some crazing though.

Good Morning Rechelle, What a pretty pasta dish and special memories too. I remember a neighbor who had a lazy susan dish set that looked much the same. Thank you for sharing.

What a nice 50s design! Interesting how "spaghetti" was big back then and how everything is "pasta" now.

I love your pasta bowl, great design too. How wonderful you have it and it has remained in wonderful shape. Crazing never hurts anything in my opinion...adds to the charm! Have a great VTT!

Wonderful bowl - I think it's what they called California Pottery - how great that you have this treasure from your mother!

Love that big pasta bowl, and what a great family heirloom! Do you use it for decoration, or do you put yummy spaghetti in it?!
