A drive through my favorite neighborhood...

This is the area that was first settled and developed here in my city. I love that this neighborhood is not "cookie cutter". Each house is different in style and in size and yet they all seem to blend and belong together.

(click on any picture to enlarge)

This home is so big I couldn't get it to fit in my lens! Hmm, looks like I caught some sort of anomaly standing on it's front porch. Wonder if it's haunted, lol!

A Tudor...(excuse the trash cans as it was "trash day" for this neighborhood)

This is one of my very favorites! Isn't this just the sweetest cottage?! I lllooovvveee the color scheme.

Another sweet cottage. I've been inside this house and those dormers are the windows to the two top bedrooms. The ceilings are also angled and it added such charm! I also love the red door. It just screams "welcome!" to me.

Can you just imagine sipping on an ice cold lemonade as you sit and relax on this front porch?

Thanks for coming along with me!

Loved the house tour, Rechelle! I love homes with personality.

Sounds like you had an exciting vacation (except for the ac misbehaving in your van....). Thanks for sharing those pictures, too.

Great tour.
I really like your new Blog Header. All vintage table cloths? I'm addicted to them, as well as fabric, fiber, chickens, etc, etc, etc.

Hey Rechelle,

It has been awhile. Glad you are back. It sounds like you are having a wonderful summer. LOVE the tour of the homes.....I think I could live in any of those. Beautiful. I do think you HAVE captured something in that first picture....scary!!!

Hi Rechelle - those cottages are to die for! Oh how I would love a sweet little home like that! I have a cookie cutter house myself, but I've managed to personalize it as much as possible inside. Thanks for sharing such wonderful pix!

Hi Rechelle, I was thinking about you. the homes are all so beautiful in there own way. I enlarged all of them and I loved the detail. I would love to live in any of them.

Yes, this summer has flown by. Especially since we were gone most of it. We are knocking ourselves out getting our yard work caught up. LOL,

Thank you for taking me on a neighborhood tour. I like it when the houses are not all the same too. These houses are so sweet and charming ♥ I wish all neighborhoods could be as pretty as yours.

Oh, these houses are so beautiful! I just love Tudor style homes! I saw in a magazine where a woman painted the brown trim on hers a wonderful apple green. It sounds strange, but it was beautiful. I think the second to last you showed is my absolute favorite, though! :) Thank you for the fun homes tour, and also for stopping by my blog and saying hello! :) I am having so much fun reading yours, and am going to read some more...

I like this neighborhood too.

Our home is not yet begun; we're still waiting. They SAY it'll be finished by December.

Some of my favorite architecture resides in California! My sister lived in Truckee for 18-years and I always loved my August vacations there... this is first time we've been back in 10-years! I can hardly wait!

I love the charming cottages most of all. I like to imagine sitting on the porch in the evening smelling the flowers growing in the garden! Thanks for the tour.

Yes I remember you! LOL! Thanks for visiting me. I love these houses. I would love to live in something like these. Maybe someday. That first picture is definitely interesting with that strange anomaly. I have gotten a few strange spots like that in pictures I took at my church. I could not figure out why sometimes they show up and sometimes not. Plus they moved around. Bizarre.

Rechelle,
I took a closer look at the first picture, hum looks like maybe a previous owner still resides there.
Driving around looking a beautiful homes is a fun way to spend an afternoon.

Awww, I just love that front porch!! Sometimes I wish I lived in the old south just so I could justify sitting on my big front porch, sipping raspberry iced tea for hours and hours. That is the life!

Love the last two, but especially the third one. The picket fence, plantings, and color scheme look so homey. I could move right in.
