So, I discovered "Heirloom White"...

I'll bet lots of us have these little step stools or have found them at thrift stores. As my home is rather small, er umm COZY, most things I have serve a dual purpose. This baby is not only a step stool, it's a decorative element AND it houses my "45's". Yes, my 45's.

While functional, it was rather an eye sore
and much to drab and
"heavy looking"
for my taste...
Old dress that
I've kept
simply because
I really loved
the print...
Well, as I mentioned. I discovered "Heirloom White" spray paint. Honestly, I really like the shade as it's not to "stark" and it seems to have a nice "creamy and vintage" look to it.

After...
I totally dig it

For those who've asked. The name of the paint is "Painter's Touch" in Heirloom White by Rustoleum. I found this brand at Home Depot. I hope you all have a great day!

It is really pretty. I love the fabric. I am in the middle of a bedroom make-over and I am ready to pack up and leave home. In order to make one room nice you have to make all the rest into disaster zones. We are actually sleeping on our bed but in the front room. My grand-kids are so confused but who isn't?

I never thought about something this simple to use for my record collection.Yes I have lots of 45's
and nothing working at the moment to play them on ,but I love to sort thru them anyway .The Heirloom white is simply gorgeous.
Love the dress fabric.
You are so talented.
Thank you for sharing your gift.
I feel so inspired at this moment .
Thank you for the blessing.

Great job! What a cheap, creative way to get a whole new look to an old (or rather, well loved :D ) piece of furniture...

I really do need that paint! Love the little stool. Seriously, I have two things to paint and just been procrastinating over the paint. Where did you find it?

Love it! Real improvement! I called my mom to tell her about it-we've saved several skirts & shirts too to reuse because like you we loved the fabric or it had a special meaning. (Another commonality!)

Good morning Rechelle, I have missed you. My visiting took a big hit with company that left yesterday. I will miss them but they were here for over two weeks and they are NOT computer people. sigh.

I love what you did to your foot stool. I too love foot stools. Yours has taken on a pretty cottage look. I have a few dresses I wish I had kept for the fabric. Why didn't I think of that?

I hope you are feeling good and all is well with you.

Hugs...Jeanne

I want not concur on it. I regard as precise post. Specially the designation attracted me to study the sound story.
