Three or More Thursday 11/13

It's time for "Three or More Thursday" which is graciously hosted by Tam @ The Gypsy's Corner.
Be sure to pay her a visit and see who else is sharing their "three's" and while you're at it, why don't you join in the fun?!

I love jars filled with pickings of the season. Being that it's Autum, I've decided to share three crystal jars/vases that I have around the house. All three are Princess House Crystal & are actually very special to me because they used to belong to my mother. Last week marked twelve years since her passing. I can look at each one of these jars/vases and remember exactly where she used to display them and how. She used to put flowers in every one of them. How's this for "three or more"? Talk about one yummy collection! One of my neighbors has a tree in his backyard and every year around this time, he gifts us with these delectable fruits. Last year the tree yielded over 400 avocados. I'm hoping it will be just as abundant this year (LOL!).Thanks for stopping by and I hope you have a fabulous day! Now don't forget! Pop on over to Tam's and share in the fun.

I had some of these gourds this fall sitting in a bowl. I cannot count the amount of times I picked them off the floor. having them in a glass vase would have been easier to keep the mess contained. thanks for sharing

Nice Job and great idea with the jars and seasonal colors. Now you know I'm going to have to steal that. I have an old princess house candle holder thing, looks like a really large wine gobblet..I think my little peanut would just love to fill that with some fall colors. Thanks for the idea.

I love vases & jars too & always buy them when I see them in thrift shops. I'll buy jars w/ broken lids & lids w/ broken jars...then "marry" them together. It was nice meeting you Rechelle!

Love the pics of your filled jars. It's nice that they remind you of your Mom. My own Mom passed away 2 days after Christmas last year (2007), so Christmas will be veyr bittersweet.

How sweet that you have your mother's vases. I'm sure she is smiling down on you when you use them. There is something about using/having something of a loved one that makes you feel close to them.

take care,
Dawn

Love your glass jars, the second one was like the one my Mom had, she always put lots of Christmas candy in it. You did a great job with yours. Such a sweet memory of your Mom..

What wonderful memories of your mom! I was just remembering my grandmother today. She would be 100 years old if she was still living. She had hoped to make it to 100, but died when she was 94.

I also cherish items I have from my Mom and the Memories that come with other things reminding me of her. I agree with you, jars are such a great way to decorate and change the look each season. I have several of the jars and cloche too and love to decorate with them. Thank you so much for joining in Three or More.
Have a wonderful Sunday,
Tam
