Our First Date "anniversary"

I know it's funny to say but we celebrate our very first date. November 4th is our "first date anniversary". Being that it was election day, we wanted to stay close to the tv and see how the voting was progressing. I made a simple dinner of spaghetti and we just spent the night with the family and on the couch watching the tv. Hubbs did bring me these though. How sweet huh? We'll go to dinner at the end of the week and remember that very first date, laugh a bit, tease each other and then make our way home and reflect on how us being together has made such a wonderful family.

Happy first date to you!! So sweet and beautiful flowers. I like that you did not give them some fancy vase. A simple jar, water and love is all they need.

The last few sentences of this post are really sweet. I think they sum up the power of love and marriage. Congrats on this little anniversary. I think it's a wonderful reason to celebrate.
