Blue Monday 11/10

Hip Hip Hoo-ray! It's time for BLUE MONDAY Graciously hosted by Sally @ Smiling Sally.
After your visit here, be sure to swing by her place and check out all the blue beauties :0)

This is a vintage postcard, dated from the 40s. It is from Cape Cod. The message on the back reads of a lady sending greetings and making mention that as the holiday approaches her rooms will once again be "filled".
I must be in a sea-side kind of mood. This was taken this past August on the Central Coast of California while hubbs and I were on a vacation. Nothing can compare to the "hues" of blue Mother Nature invokes.
This was taken the very same day, but about an hour later into the afternoon/evening. Same camera but you can see how the hues have changed. I've always thought the changes of the hues in the sky and water are brought about by a bit of magic...The sky is a much deeper blue and the ocean water seems more navy.

You could almost fool anybody--in the last shot the sand looks like snow because of the changing light conditions. More pictures, please!!

Oh, and I love that you call your husband "Hubbs." Very fun!

It's amazing the difference between the Atlantic and Pacific Oceans - each beautiful in its own way. Cape Cod is my very favorite vacation spot. Happy Blue Monday.
