Show & Tell Friday 10/9

Happy Friday! It's time for Show & Tell now being hosted by Cindy @ My Romantic Home. Just have to say Thank you to Kelli (There is no place like home) for such a wonderful job at hostess before passing it to Cindy.

I've been making wee changes here at home and thought I'd share it with you and also get some feedback. My blogging buddies have never steered me wrong.

I have a love of tassels, as I know many of us bloggers do, but I was never able to find one I "loved" and I'm just not handy enough to make my own. While visiting my blogging buddy Jenny @ Candlelit Cottage, I decided to ask her to make a tassel that would blend with my kitchen, dining and living areas (I like to move things around...A LOT!). Then I noticed a rather pudgy tassel that would be great in my dining area. Look at these beauties! Aren't they fantastic?! Be sure to stop by Jenny's and say "Hey!". She's one of the nicest bloggerinas out there!
I love how it looks
hanging on my china cabinet door

I know I've all ready shared this picture,
but here you get the "big picture".
I just love my pudgy tassel.

This is the tassel I requested from Jenny.
I told her my colors and she put this beauty together.
She's so creative!
I know you can't really get the full impact of the
red finial soooo...
Daisy getting in on the picture taking fun...

Now you can really get
the full impact of it's colors and look...

I also wanted to share my crate labels.
I purchased these when we first started
the face lift on the kitchen...way back when.
Framing each one would have been very costly
and I didn't want to spend that much, so I found this frame
and Mr. WHC framed and got them up on the wall for
all to see and enjoy. Especially me!
And the E-A-T l;etters were moved here. I know the A is a bit off. I'll be climbing back up there to set the letters flush with the ceiling. Well as flush as I can anyway...I don't think I have a truly "flush" wall anywhere in this house, lol!
Thanks for stopping by and sharing a part of your day with me. I hope the rest of your day and weekend are FABULOUS!

Never had anyone call me a bloggerina before! LOL! Everything looks so nice and boy is that Daisy dog ever adorable! I sure hope everything comes out ok for your son!! It's such a rough game isn't it. I'm a nervous wreck every time I watch. At times I wonder why on earth I allow them to play?!

Have a great weekend!!

Those tassels are awesome! May have to get me some too, or attempt to make them myself. Love the cute crate labels and also how you have the utensil handles on your closet doors. I love little interesting details like that!

The EAT letters look fine! Isn't it fashionable to have them a "little off?" I love the look of things "a little off" but the anal side of me straightens them! Your home is so cozy. Back in my twenties when I first started decorating, I started out with crate labels. I remember I "matted" them in frames with construction paper like you buy for kids! We didn't have all the choices we do today, such as scrapbook paper! Oh, it brings back memories.

Good morning Rechelle. I love your post today. I enlarged all of your photos for the full impact. It is such a perfect touch to your kitchen and dining room makeover. The spoons on the doors are so sweet. Both of your tassels are awesome. Love your doggy in the photo as well. Adorable. I posted puppy photos today. Come and see.

I love tassels too! In fact, I read a tutorial {Be Tasseled} and made my own...they weren't too hard. I've also purchased one on Etsy {The Tassel House} that I love.

What nice photos! I have the same kind of doors in my pantry and they are white and I have been debating whether I should paint them a different color....now that I see them red, this might work in my kitchen too! Thanks!

Not sure any walls in homes are flush and I would not climb up there again but rather take a broom handle to straighten things out that are high above...usually works for me and a whole lot safer then climbing up and down a chair or a ladder. Co-ordination on ladders has never been my strong point:)

Hi Rechelle, thank you for your sweet visit today. I so know how much time blogging takes. Posting is one thing and then visiting. Sometimes my whole morning is gone just visiting and not that many people. I'm wordy so my friend tells me. I don't care If I take the time to visit it has to be personal and not two words and have a good day. Please don't worry about how often you visit. I will enjoy your visits when you have the time.

I still think your tassels are awesome. Laughing. I love tassels too.

Hugs, xoxo, Jeanne

Hi Rechelle! Oh, those pieces of china are so beautiful! I just love them. Your tassels are wonderful. Don't you just love them? I am drooling over those little spoon handles on your doors! Did you buy those or make them? I love that.
Thank you so much for the hug!
Blessed Thanksgiving to you and your family,
