Please Keep "our" soldier in prayer...

My nephew Austin.
He's off to Afghanistan...

Prayer for the Safety of a Soldier

Almighty and eternal God,
those who take refuge in you will be glad
and forever will shout for joy.
Protect these soldiers as they discharge their duties.
Protect them with the shield of your strength
and keep them safe from all evil and harm.
May the power of your love enable them to return home
in safety, that with all who love them,
they may ever praise you for your loving care.
We ask this through Christ our Lord.

I will add him to my prayer list. Also please let him know that I, as many, thank him for his service and for being so brave.

May God keep him safe and return him soon.

You should be very proud of him.

Hugs,
Joanne

I know the feelings you and your family are having right now... I just kept telling everyone "I keep seeing him walk back through that front door..." and I do not take it for granted everyday since my husbands return from Iraq that he walk through that front door....

You are all in my prayers...

Big Hugs!!!

He has my prayers as do all his family. My son is out of active duty from the marines now, but the pride and fear are still in my heart.
