Show & Tell Friday 2/6

Yay! It's that time again kiddies! Time for Show & Tell Friday (crowd cheers). S&TF is happily hosted by Kelli @ There is No place like home.

Today I'm sharing some vintage jewelery pieces that used to belong to my mother. The pearl and crystal pin and earring set (clip earrings at that!) sparkle beautifully when the light hits them. The silver/blue pin is so classic in it's simplicity. I used to use the silver one on my black beret. It gave it a bit of added pizazz. Yes,believe it or not, I do use these pieces.

Thanks for visiting and saying "Hi!". Don't forget to pop on over to Kelli's and see who else is sharing today.

I remember finding an old green and rhinestone brooch for $1 years ago and it's a favorite of mine! Yours are really pretty, I like the idea of pinning one onto a beret or hat. Hmmm.... you've given me an idea!

Super!!! I have a few pieces of my mother's jewelry too. They're keepsakes for sure. Your mom's is beautiful.

My Show n Tell is posted now, hope you can drop by. It's going to be a 3-parter so it won't take so long for loading.

Hi Rechelle,
How are you doing? I know I haven't commented for a long time. I am bad I know. I still read every post that you put up...so I am still here ;)

I love those pieces. I especially love that there is a story to go with them.

How wonderful that your mother passed them on to you.

BTW...did I tell you that I have another blog? There is a link to it from Rusty Cottage. Just a little FYI on the 411 :o)

Have a blessed day!

They are gorgeous. I love vintage jewelry more than anything. I have several pins too. I have a lot of earrings but they are all the clip on kind so I'm afraid to wear them. One of these days, I'm going to fix that. I haven't figured out how yet. How do you put a post on a vintage earring?

Your jewelery pieces are so lovely - and it is wonderful to know that you wear them. So many people keep things for 'good' and it is such a waste - may these pieces continue to bring you much joy as you wear them.
