It's been a little while since the bathroom face lift was completed, but those little extra touches are something that I think are ever changing. That's what I like about accessories. When I get tired of one, I can swap it out for something else, or I can just "change" it all together. Here's a plant stand that didn't have a home, and I decided to move it into the bathroom. I left it there, trying to get a feel for it, trying it out, trying to see if it "fit", trying to see if we could "just get along", however, Something just didn't seem right...so---
Yes, I painted it. Have spray paint will conquer! I really like the glossy finish and I like how the shine seems to set off the detail of the leaves and roses.Ah, much better. Blends well, and adding the pink jewelery box was actually a really good idea and will serve me well. I have a bad habit of just throwing my jewelery on the bathroom counter, well I can't even begin to tell you how many earrings I've lost that way. Let's just say, it's a lot! Now, I've actually somewhere to put my jewelery and things. I like it much better but now I've got to start thinking about what to add to the walls. I need more...And yes, I know. That trash can is a real eye sore, but I still haven't found anything I like well enough, to put there. I'm still thinking a galvanized bucket would look pretty good.
Remember that half the joy of achievement is in the anticipation.

It looks beautiful. Although, all I can think of is how my dh would stub his toe walking into the bathroom and that would be the end of it for me...lol. I can keep dreaming of pretty stuff though....
Looks great! Gotta love black spray paint!
Terrific, sweetpea!! I love it! The name of the game is "moving around" for me. Find a new place to display it and I'm in hog heaven, I tell ya........
Smoochies,

Hi Rechelle,
Great idea with the plant stand. So many things can work in some many places. Like you said, just have to move things around a bit. Have a great weekend :)
Warmly, Deb
When I was at Menards, local huge hardware store, I picked up a couple of cans of spray paint...I'm thinking ahead and have a little stand that needs a new look!!
Love the color of the walls, oh my......so shabby pretty! And that beadboard part of the walls, isn't that what it's called? Anyway just yummy!
You did a great paint job and I love the beadboard in your bathroom too.
What a cute bathroom. That is the same color I used in my bedroom. It is trying to take over the title of "favorite" that pink currently holds. Come for a visit.
